A Brief Bio of Peggy Caruso

Peggy Caruso is a certified executive and personal development coach, an NLP master practitioner and an advanced hypnotherapist. She has also been an entrepreneur for twenty-two years. As a parenting coach, she teaches parents how to communicate better with their children. On August 4th of this year, she released her latest book, Revolutionize your Child's Life.

The Secret On How to Revolutionize Your Child's Life

Peggy Caruso believes that child-raising has changed over time. The standards parents grew up with no longer apply. The new generation of children see things differently. They are much more cautious and cynical about life. She illustrated this point-of-view by describing an experiment she casually conducts when children come to her office for counseling. On her desk is a bottle of water. Only one child said it was half-full. All the rest considered it half-empty.

"There are three developmental stages that children go through," said Peggy. The first stage is the imprint stage. It applies to children from 0 to 7 years. During this stage, they absorb everything around them, almost like a sponge. The second stage is the modeling stage. It applies to children from 7 to 14 years. During this stage, they imitate others. The third stage is the socialization stage. It applies to children from 14 to 21 years. During this stage, they work on defining their own unique identities.

It was during these three critical life phases that parent had an opportunity to influence their children to develop positive mental habits. Each phase was an opportunity to help children in a different way. Unless parents intervened, their children would develop negative thinking patterns because of negative role models and negative socialization. Negative thinking, in turn, would lead to negative habits and self-destructive activities.

Parents can learn more about how to have a beneficial and positive influence on their children's life by reading, "Revolutionize Your Child's Life." The book offered a comprehensive plan on how parents could communicate in a meaningful way with their children.
