Borders And Accessories For Baby Room

By Darren Hartley

You may be mistaken in thinking that baby room borders do not have a major impact on the baby room decor. As a matter of fact the border holds the key to the tone set for the space around it. It is the color, print and message of the border that forms the basis for the baby room accessories that may be positioned in this vacant area.

So long as parents know what nursery theme they are going after, they should not have a problem in selecting the tone-setting baby room borders that would match that theme. It is a given that comparison of available options lead to the selection of the perfect border to go well with the chosen theme.

The baby room borders normally go around the top, middle or near the bottom of the room. There would be a need to paint the walls prior to the setting up of the wall borders. The color of the wall and the border should complement each other. The nursery theme would definitely be in ruins should the wall and border colors clash against each other.

The description for baby room accessories come in threes. Furniture, curtains, pillows and rugs should be inviting, light and comfortable. Toys must be playful, stimulating and interesting. To ensure that the baby continuously feel happy and energetic, he must be surrounded with accessories that are funny and adventurous.

Baby room accessories in the form of furniture pieces must be sparse and few. Babies enjoy a large area to move around and play with his toys especially when he starts learning how to crawl and eventually walk. A spacious baby room creates a play zone and make baby rooms fun for babies.

Large windows prove to be important baby room accessories in their provision of a sunny atmosphere to the nursery. This atmosphere can only bring joy, comfort and energy to a baby. Windows must be made to face east, south or south-east. The sunshine and natural light it brings to the baby room can only add brightness, cheerfulness and warmth to the nursery environment.
